Hastings Greens are very pleased to announce Jo Walker Green Campaigner as the Green Party candidate for Ore for the May 2nd local elections.

Jo said – I’m Jo Walker, a member of The Hastings Green Party and local Ore resident.

I am putting myself forward to be a Green Councillor in Ore because I believe the people of Hastings deserve councillors who are active within the area they are elected to, councillors who will listen to what residents want and councillors who will champion the concerns of local people.

I have been out campaigning with the Green Party and I have been listening to what residents are saying, what changes they want and hearing the disappointment they feel at not being listened to by their current councillors.

I live and work in Ore and I want the best for the residents that live here, I already work hard in the community, as a trustee for Ore Community Land Trust and want to be able to do more.
