Hastings Green Party is very pleased to announce Becca Horn Green PPC as the candidate for Castle Ward.

I live, work and spend most of my time here in Castle ward, and I want to see the right changes made to help our town thrive. There’s so much to be proud of in Hastings, we should be encouraging our community to come up with solutions that are right for us.

Our town centre should work to enhance the beauty of the coast and countryside it sits within, not pollute or degrade it. It should be a place where people live as well as work, shop, eat and play, and no building should be left empty.

The incredible creative talent here should be enabled to help grow our local economy and feed back into our community.

The multitude of social issues behind our high crime rates and antisocial behaviour require an holistic approach that bolsters our incredible volunteer and support services on the ground and connects the dots for people in need.

I have high hopes for a great, green Hastings – a town that lives up to our historic reputation. It can be done if we listen to each other and work with what we have already. Together, we can make Hastings thrive for good.
