London Demonstration called by the People’s Assembly and Stand Up to Racism Saturday 16 July

3 July 2016

However people voted in the referendum, we now need to unite and take to the streets to demand an end to austerity policies, to stand up to anti-immigrant racism and show our solidarity with refugees and migrants. The march starts from BBC HQ, Portland Place, London W1A 1AA. If you would like to travel up as part of the local group we will be catching the 9.50 am train from Hastings. Look for the large Green Party banner on the platform!

This means that the Member's meeting originally planned for Saturday 16 July has been postponed to Saturday 23 July 11.00 - 1.00 pm White Rock Hotel. This will be an opportunity to further discuss our reactions to the referendum result and plan our response, including the Green Party's call for an anti Brexit alliance to oppose the Conservatives in any snap general election.
